A beautifully rendered classical bust depicting the goddess of health, Hygeia, in the Greco-Roman tradition, her gaze downcast with quiet elegance. The face features idealized proportions — smooth brow, delicate lips, and softly modeled features — characteristic of ancient Greek sculptural aesthetics. The hair is styled in flowing, wave-like ripples swept back with loose curls at the crown and sides, adding wonderful texture and movement to the piece.
The head is mounted on a metal rod affixed to a solid wood cube pedestal, giving it a clean, museum-display quality. The aged white-beige patina of the plaster lends an authentic, antiqued appearance. A striking statement piece for a library, study, living room, or as part of a curated classical art collection.
