A sturdy carved wood stand made to lift a favorite bowl, vase, or planter and give it real presence. Five sculpted legs curl out at the top and sweep down into hooked scroll feet, all tied together by a smooth round ring near the base. The round top is turned with a raised rim and two fine incised circles, with a center hole. The wood has a warm chestnut-brown finish with lively grain and a soft, worn glow from years of use. Shown here holding a 12 1/2" bowl, it brings the whole display up to eye level.
