A rounded white porcelain vase from Rosenthal that plays two finishes against each other. Smooth, glossy white bands sweep up the sides, and between them run tall matte bisque panels packed with raised detail: birds in flight and at rest, hanging cherries, small flowers, and big curling leaves, all set on a fine dotted ground like lace. The panels are crisp enough to read from across the room and still reward a close look.
The shape is full at the shoulder and tapers to the base, with a wide mouth that holds a generous bunch of florals. All white, it fits easily with classic or modern rooms and looks just as good empty on a shelf, mantel, or console. Marked on the base "Rosenthal classic Germany."
