A heavy hand-blown glass vase with white calla lilies suspended inside the walls. Each bloom is worked by hand at the torch — a furled white trumpet with a yellow center and a green stem that trails down into a swirl of dark leaves at the base. Above the flowers, the glass deepens into a rich cranberry red, so the white lilies look lit from within. Look down through the opening, and the red twists into a pinwheel around the center. The base is thick and clear where all the color gathers, and the piece has real weight in the hand.
