A warm, quiet moment in an old Dutch cottage kitchen. A young mother in a white bonnet and blue apron sits by the hearth, spooning a meal to the baby bundled in her lap. A black kettle hangs on a chain over a small open fire, and the steam curls up into the smoky air. A white bowl waits on the stool beside her, and her feet rest on a little wooden foot stove. Soft light falls on the pale wall behind her, so your eye goes straight to mother and child. Simple, tender, and full of everyday life. Sold unframed on its original wood stretcher. Pick out a frame you love, or lean it as-is on a mantel or shelf for an easy, collected look.
