A distinguished four-volume set of John Clark Ridpath's "History of the United States: From Aboriginal Times to Taft's Administration." This Academic Edition was revised in 1911 by The Review of Reviews Company and published in New York. The volumes feature beautiful half-leather and blue and gold marbled bindings with gilt-tooled American eagle emblems and decorative elements. The spines display Volume I through IV markings with ornate gold detailing. A magnificent piece of early 20th-century American historical literature that would enhance any library or collection.
